4. Loud bang
A loud bang is one of those car sounds that can be quite alarming. It could happen if you have a clogged air filter that is stopping air from mixing with the fuel in your engine.
Another possible reason why your car makes a loud bang is that you might have a problem with your catalytic converter. Whichever is the case, don't ignore this car sound; get your vehicle checked out as soon as possible.
